Lost dog, urgent!

Now this is something completely different from my regular posts but this is just as important. Tonight my auntie has found a terrier mix female dog sitting in the pouring rain near the red rose club (previously the monoco) in Hindley. The dog is quite over weight and has a limp from the access weight it is carrying, with white around its nose and a yellow/brown colour around its entire body this dog seems elderly and is from a loving home.

The dog has been picked up by Leigh's cat & dogs home in Lancashire. The lady has said the dog will be staying there for a week being checked over, left on a strict diet and cared for by their local vet. If you know who this dog is, yours, a friend or family member then please either go into the home or please contact them via email or telephone number.

For those worrying what will happen to the dog after the week is up, there is no need to panic as the lady who collected her who already owns 3 elderly dogs from the home has said to be willing to take her on if the owner doesn't come forward.
